  • Obtaining all necessary permits required by provincial and federal governments to provide services.
  • Performing the responsibilities of a full-time executive director in the subsidiary company in ON.

 Pooya Tarh Shahr, the parent company, has been operating as an engineering consulting firm since its incorporation on October 20, 1997, and focuses on creating a strong team of in-house employees with diverse professional backgrounds and skills has allowed the Parent Company to broaden its area of expertise over the previous years and cover the following areas of construction and engineering: Residential building construction, Commercial building construction Official building construction, Educational building construction, Sport building construction, Medical building construction, and  Interior design.

As a CEO and Project manager I am responsible for:

  • Manage and coordinate construction team in different residential projects to reach the best architectural concept.
  • Drawing of construction detail drawings including phase I and II architecture plans.
  • Play a key role in the management and completion of a multimillion-dollar residential complex.
  • Oversaw the different residential complexes in varying phases of construction. Complete all of them on time and within budget.
  • Conducted rigorous quality control inspections to ensure municipal code requirements and constriction standards.
  • Responded to RFIs from contractors and used well-developed communication skills to provide clarification on construction
  • Conducted required coordination meetings with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure the project process is running smoothly.
  • Supervised performed detailed drawing changes and produced as many as necessary.
  • Ensured drawing standards and practices are followed and executed properly.
  • Used proven verbal communication skills to communicate with contractors, interior designers, and clients to optimize operational efficiency.

Architectural Coordinator & Architectural design manager                                       May 2010 – August 2014

As a coordinator and design manager, I was responsible for:

  • Supervised construction activities including the construction execution process.
  • Reviewed shop drawings against construction documents and provided markups as per project requirements.
  • Scheduled, coordinated, and managed site meetings with clients, construction project managers, and general contractors.
  • Inspected and estimated volume and quantity of materials such as rebar, concrete, and finish materials as required for the construction execution material.
  • Inspected, revised, and submitted construction material specifications for project finishes as required to meet the most recent energy and fire safety standards and protocols.
  • Provided site reviews and deficiency reports before occupancy.
  • Coordinated and solved site issues to reconcile with electrical and mechanical installations
  • Completed ASBUILT drawings as per contractor’s markups after each project section’s handover.
  • Reviewed and approved Operation and Maintenance Manuals for stations.
  • Created feasibility study, and schematic design and planned for mixed commercial-residential projects.
  • Attended meetings with clients to present timing/financial schedules, preliminary design, and feasibility study scope of projects.
  • Assisted construction project managers by performing site visits to inspect site requirements regarding material and labor.
  • Provided feasibility study for projects to assess financial investments as requested by the client.
  • Reviewed constructional execution process against approving constructional drawings.
  • Coordinated architectural construction documents with structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.

  • Developed detailed schedules of the projects
  • Tracked and coordinated the progress of the project on a day-to-day basis
  • Coordinated and regulated various meetings, such as project progress review meetings and quality circles
  • Worked directly with the project manager and project team to help define the project’s goals and objectives
  • Prepared weekly and monthly reports

Arash Aliabadi, born on December 22, 1981, is an Iranian architect. He is the Founder of “DAAZ Office” in 2018. Prior to that, he worked from 2007 to 2017 as a Founding member and Partner of VAV Architecture Group (dissolved in 2020).
